Integrasi Storytelling Berbasis Kearifan Lokal dalam Penguatan Kompetensi Abad ke-21 dan Nilai Keberlanjutan

Salah satu kebutuhan utama dalam pendidikan calon guru adalah memperkuat kompetensi abad ke-21, terutama dalam menghadapi tantangan global serta tuntutan pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan berkelanjutan. Salah satu pendekatan pembelajaran inovatif yang mungkin menjawab tantangan ini adalah storytelling berbasis kearifan lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi seberapa efektif pembelajaran storytelling berbasis kearifan lokal dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa calon guru abad ke-21, seperti berpikir kritis, kreatif, berkomunikasi, dan bekerja sama. Metode mix-method digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Mereka menggunakan desain quasi-eksperimen pre-test-post-test yang tidak sebanding dengan kelompok kontrol. 40 mahasiswa calon guru dibagi ke dalam kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Data kuantitatif diperoleh melalui tes kompetensi abad ke-21, sedangkan data kualitatif dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur, angket persepsi, dan statistik deskriptif serta uji t independent. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan kedua kelompok meningkat pada kategori sedang. Namun, nilai N-Gain kelompok eksperimen jauh lebih tinggi daripada kelompok kontrol (p < 0,05). Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa storytelling berbasis kearifan lokal meningkatkan keaktifan mahasiswa, kolaborasi kelompok, kebermaknaan pembelajaran, dan pemahaman nilai keberlanjutan. Simpulan penelitian bahwa strorytelling berbasis kearifan lokal adalah strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dan relevan untuk mengembangkan kompetensi abad ke-21 serta mempersiapkan calon guru untuk tantangan pendidikan masa depan
