Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis kepribadian tokoh utama dalam novel Harga Seorang Wanita karya Ngarto Februana menggunakan pendekatan psikologi sastra. Fokus utama penelitian adalah bagaimana trauma, tekanan sosial, dan eksploitasi membentuk dinamika psikologis tokoh utama, Tini, dalam menghadapi realitas patriarki yang menindas. Dengan menggunakan teori psikoanalisis Freud serta pendekatan feminis interseksional, penelitian ini mengungkap bagaimana Tini mengalami pergeseran kepribadian dari kepatuhan terhadap norma sosial menuju pemberontakan dan pencarian identitas diri. Mekanisme pertahanan ego seperti represi, rasionalisasi, dan disosiasi menjadi strategi utama dalam menghadapi tekanan psikologis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa transformasi kepribadian Tini tidak hanya dipengaruhi oleh konflik internal, tetapi juga oleh struktur sosial yang membatasi otonomi perempuan. Studi ini memberikan kontribusi pada kajian psikologi sastra dengan menawarkan perspektif yang lebih holistik mengenai hubungan antara trauma, gender, dan perlawanan terhadap sistem patriarki dalam karya sastra.
