Abstract

The rapid advancement of information and communication technology has encouraged innovation in education, particularly through the use of digital learning media. However, Geography learning in schools is still frequently conducted using conventional methods, resulting in limited student participation and low learning interest. This study aimed to examine the effect of Assemblr Edu based three-dimensional learning media on students’ interest in learning Geography and to identify their responses toward its implementation. The study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The sample consisted of 70 tenth-grade students of SMA Gajah Mada Bandar Lampung, divided into an experimental class and a control class. Data were collected through questionnaires and observation sheets and analyzed using normality, homogeneity, and Independent Samples t-Test analyses. The results showed that the use of Assemblr Edu-based 3D learning media had a positive and significant effect on students’ learning interest, indicated by a significance value below 0,002 < 0.05. Furthermore, students’ responses to the implementation of the media reached 77.14%, which was categorized as good. These findings indicate that Assemblr Edu based 3D learning media can be used as an innovative, interactive, and effective learning tool for improving Geography learning interest among secondary school students effectively.
