Implementasi Bimbingan Belajar untuk Meningkatkan Kesiapan Olimpiade Siswa

Adanya kesenjangan antara kurikulum sekolah dan silabus olimpiade menyebabkan siswa SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak kesulitan berkompetisi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesiapan siswa melalui program bimbingan intensif. Siswa dibimbing selama 12 pertemuan untuk memahami konsep-konsep dasar dan lanjut disertai latihan soal secara terstruktur. Proses pembimbingan didukung dengan pemberdayaan tutor sebaya dan Buku Bimbingan Olimpiade Kimia Tingkat SMA. Kegiatan dievaluasi melalui analisis pre-test dan post-test serta observasi selama pembimbingan berlangsung. Hasil analisis menunjukkan siswa memiliki kesiapan mengikuti kompetisi yang lebih baik dengan N-Gain pre-test dan post-test sebesar 0,35. Observasi menunjukkan siswa dapat menganalisis soal khas oimpiade, khususnya pada materi Stoikiometri dan Struktur Atom. Selain itu, pengabdian ini menghasilkan luaran berupa modul ajar mandiri yang dihibahkan kepada sekolah untuk menjamin keberlanjutan pembinaan di masa mendatang.
