Integrasi Metode Rula dan Nordic Body Map Untuk Evaluasi Risiko Ergonomi pada Industri Tempe Skala Rumah Tangga

The household tempeh industry is still dominated by manual methods and simple facilities, which trigger ergonomic risks and symptoms of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs). This study, conducted at two tempeh MSMEs in Semarang, identifies risk levels and worker complaints to formulate work improvement proposals using a descriptive quantitative approach. Data were collected through observation, documentation, interviews, body angle measurements, and the Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire, while body posture risk was assessed using the Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) method.The results show that the majority of production activities, such as washing, boiling, fermenting, and packaging, fall within moderate to very high risk levels with RULA scores ranging from 4 to 7. Dominant musculoskeletal complaints were reported in the neck, shoulders, back, waist, arms, and legs, with the "mildly painful" category reaching 48.21%. These findings demonstrate a significant correlation between non-ergonomic working postures and the physical complaints experienced by workers.
