The Innovation Information System was designed to address the problem of unsystematic data collection and management of innovation products within the Information Systems Study Program Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha. To ensure the quality and suitability of the system to user needs, comprehensive testing is necessary. This study applies two testing methods: Black Box Testing to validate system functionality and Usability Testing to measure effectiveness, efficiency, and identify interface issues from a user perspective. Black Box testing was conducted through a series of test scenarios on key features such as login, innovation submission, filters, and admin approval. The results showed that all system functionality ran as expected. Usability testing involved student respondents and lecturers working on assignment scenarios. The results of the usability testing revealed several obstacles faced by users, particularly in the statistical filter feature, the clarity of the button to view creator details, and the login mechanism. Based on these findings, recommendations for improvements were formulated to enhance the user experience to make the system more intuitive and user-friendly.
