Talfiq in the perspective of the Islamic jurisprudence school of thought is one of the classic issues that continues to experience actualization in contemporary Islamic legal discourse, especially amidst the social dynamics and complexity of religious issues faced by modern Muslims. This study aims to analyze the concept of talfiq in the perspective of the Islamic jurisprudence school of thought, examine the forms of controversy and legitimacy of talfiq according to classical and contemporary scholars, and implement it in fiqh learning with a Contextual Learning approach for students at As-Syafi'iyah Islamic University. The contextual learning approach was chosen because of the emphasis on the relationship between open material and the reality of students' lives, so that the study of talfiq does not stop at the normative-theoretical level, but can be applied in the context of actual religious problems, such as worship, muamalah, and modern socio-religious problems. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, which focuses on the study of fiqh learning practices at As-Syafi'iyah Islamic University as a case unit. This case study confirms that contextual-based talfiq learning significantly contributes to shaping students' academic attitudes toward moderation, criticality, and responsibility in addressing differing Islamic jurisprudence views in the contemporary era. The results demonstrate that the application of a contextual learning approach to talfiq learning can help students understand the dynamics of differences in schools of thought more comprehensively and proportionately.
