This study aims to analyze the influence of students' perceptions of learning models and self-confidence on critical thinking skills in biology of senior high school students in Subang Regency. Critical thinking skills are one of the important competencies in biology learning because they enable students to analyze information, evaluate concepts, and draw conclusions logically and scientifically. This study used a survey method with a quantitative approach. The research sample consisted of 91 students selected using a purposive sampling technique. The results of the study: 1) there is a significant influence between perceptions of learning models and self-confidence together on critical thinking skills in biology. This is evidenced by a significance score of 0.000 < 0.05, 2) there is a significant influence between perceptions of learning models on critical thinking skills in biology. This is evidenced by a significance score of 0.000 < 0.05, and 3) there is a significant influence between self-confidence on critical thinking skills in biology. This is evidenced by a significance score of 0.000 < 0.05. These findings indicate that students' perceptions of the learning models applied by teachers and students' levels of self-confidence have an important role in improving critical thinking skills in biology learning. Therefore, implementing effective learning models and strengthening student self-confidence are essential components of biology learning in schools.
