Pengaruh Efikasi Diri dan Resiliensi Akademik terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Reflektif IPA (Survei pada SMP Negeri di Kota Depok)

Reflective thinking skills are relevant in science learning because they require students not only to understand the material, but also to assess and reflect on their own learning strategies. Various studies show that junior high school students in Indonesia still face challenges in implementing reflective thinking optimally in the context of science learning. The objectives of this study were to determine the influence of self-efficacy and academic resilience together on reflective thinking skills in science in junior high school students in Depok City. The approach used was quantitative with a correlational survey method. The sample in this study was 87 eighth grade students selected using the Proportion Sampling technique from 2 (two) public schools in Depok City. The instruments used were self-efficacy and academic resilience questionnaires, as well as essay tests to measure reflective thinking skills in science. The test results show that there are: (1) the influence of self-efficacy and academic resilience together on the ability to think reflectively in science with the results of the multiple regression test showing sig. 0.000 < 0.05 and a calculated F value of 62.624, (2) a significant influence between self-efficacy on the ability to think reflectively in science with sig. 0.028 < 0.05 and a calculated t value of 2.243, (3) a significant influence between academic resilience and the ability to think reflectively in science with sig. 0.000 < 0.05 and a calculated t value of 7.386. It can be concluded that there is a significant influence between self-efficacy and academic resilience together on the ability to think reflectively in science.
