Pengaruh Persepsi atas Model Pembelajaran dan Resiliensi Terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Biologi (Survei pada SMA Swasta di Kabupaten Bogor)

The objectives of this study were to investigate: (1) the effect of students’ perceptions of the learning model and resilience on their understanding of biological concepts among private senior high school students in Bogor Regency; (2) the effect of students’ perceptions of the learning model on their understanding of biological concepts; and (3) the effect of resilience on students’ understanding of biological concepts. The sample consisted of 84 students selected using proportional random sampling, and the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the hypothesis testing and data analysis, the results indicate that: (1) there is a significant combined effect of students’ perceptions of the learning model and resilience on their understanding of biological concepts, as evidenced by a significance value of Sig = 0.000 < 0.05 and an F-value of 71.871; (2) there is a significant effect of students’ perceptions of the learning model on their understanding of biological concepts, as indicated by a significance value of Sig = 0.004 < 0.05 and a t-value of 3.602; and (3) there is a significant effect of resilience on students’ understanding of biological concepts, as shown by a significance value of Sig = 0.000 < 0.05 and a t-value of 7.239. The implications of this study indicate that both students’ perceptions of the learning model and resilience significantly influence their understanding of biological concepts. Therefore, in order to develop more effective learning models, efforts should be made to enhance students’ resilience, as improvements in resilience are expected to contribute to better understanding of biological concepts.
