Pengaruh Motivasi dan Kemandirian Belajar Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Biologi (Survei pada MAN di Jakarta Timur)

The low level of achievement in biology learning remains a challenge that must be addressed through various strategic approaches, including those related to learning motivation and learning independence. This study aims to examine: (1) the simultaneous effect of learning motivation and learning independence on students’ biology learning achievement; (2) the effect of learning motivation on biology learning achievement; and (3) the effect of learning independence on biology learning achievement of MAN students in East Jakarta. The research employed a survey method with a correlational approach using multiple linear regression analysis. The sample consisted of 88 students. The results of the study indicate that: (1) learning motivation and learning independence simultaneously have a significant effect on biology learning achievement, as evidenced by a significance value of Sig = 0.000 < 0.05 and an F value of 30.029; (2) learning motivation has a significant effect on biology learning achievement, as indicated by Sig = 0.001 < 0.05 and a t value of 3.418; and (3) learning independence has a significant effect on biology learning achievement, as shown by Sig = 0.000 < 0.05 and a t value of 3.630.
