Pengaruh Kemampuan Koneksi Matematis dan Regulasi Diri terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematika (Survei pada SMP di Jakarta Selatan)

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of: 1) mathematical connection ability and self-regulation simultaneously on the mathematical problem-solving ability of students at State Junior High Schools in South Jakarta, 2) mathematical connection ability on the mathematical problem-solving ability of students at State Junior High Schools in South Jakarta, and 3) the influence of self-regulation on the mathematical problem-solving ability of students at State Junior High Schools in South Jakarta. The research method used was a survey with correlational analysis techniques through multiple linear regression analysis. The sample was 223 students with proportionate simple random sampling technique. The results of the study: 1) there is a significant influence between mathematical connection ability and self-regulation simultaneously on the mathematical problem-solving ability of students at State Junior High Schools in South Jakarta. This is evidenced by the value of Sig = 0.00 <0.05 and F-count = 85.966, 2) there is a significant influence between mathematical connection ability on the mathematical problem-solving ability of students at State Junior High Schools in South Jakarta. This is evidenced by the Sig value = 0.00 < 0.05 and the t-count value = 8.295, and 3) there is a significant influence between self-regulation and the mathematical problem-solving ability of students at State Junior High Schools in South Jakarta. This is evidenced by the Sig value = 0.046 < 0.05 and the t-count value = 2.007.
