Pengaruh Pemahaman Konsep dan Efikasi Diri terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematika (Survei pada SMP Negeri di Jakarta Barat)

The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) The influence of conceptual understanding and self-efficacy together on mathematical problem-solving abilities, (2) The influence of conceptual understanding on mathematical problem-solving abilities, and (3) The influence of self-efficacy on mathematical problem-solving abilities. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method with a multiple linear regressionsurvey approach. The sample in this study was 75 students using a proportion sampling technique. Furthermore, the data analysis technique usedwas a multiple linear regression analysis technique. The results of the study showed that: (1) There is a significant influence of conceptual understanding and self- efficacy together on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of junior high school students in West Jakarta. This is evidenced by a sig value of 0.00 < 0.05 and a calculated F value of 31.302. (2) There is a significant influence of conceptual understanding on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of junior high school students in West Jakarta. This is proven by the sig value of 0.00 < 0.05 and the calculated t value of 4.538 and (3) There is a significant influence of self-efficacy on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of junior high school students in West Jakarta. This is proven by the sig value of 0.00 < 0.05 and the calculated t value of 4.407.
