Peran social furniture arrangement dalam mendukung interaksi sosial pada fasilitas kesehatan: Tinjauan literatur

Lingkungan fasilitas kesehatan membentuk lebih dari sekadar latar bagi aktivitas medis, ruang di dalamnya juga memengaruhi cara pasien, keluarga dan tenaga kesehatan saling berinteraksi. Sejumlah kajian menunjukkan bahwa pengalaman sosial yang positif berkontribusi terhadap kenyamanan psikologis dan proses pemulihan pasien. Namun, dalam pembahasan desain terapeutik, peran pengaturan furnitur sering kali hadir sebagai aspek teknis, bukan sebagai elemen utama yang membentuk hubungan sosial di dalam ruang perawatan. Oleh karena itu, kajian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah peran social furniture arrangement dalam mendukung interaksi sosial di fasilitas kesehatan. Kajian ini dilakukan melalui metode narrative literature review. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pengaturan tata letak furnitur, keterbukaan visual, serta skala dan fleksibilitas ruang memiliki keterkaitan dengan terbentuknya interaksi sosial yang lebih suportif. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa social furniture arrangement berperan melalui mekanisme spasial seperti fleksibilitas tata duduk, keterbukaan visual, pengelompokan furnitur berskala kecil dan kejelasan sirkulasi, yang secara bersama-sama memfasilitasi pilihan interaksi sosial, rasa kendali, serta kenyamanan psikologis pengguna dalam pengalaman terapeutik.
