Fast-Track Review Policy

Fast-Track Review is an optional accelerated service designed to shorten the peer-review timeline for manuscripts requiring expedited editorial handling.

This service does not guarantee acceptance. All manuscripts remain subject to the journal’s standard editorial and peer-review procedures and are evaluated solely on academic merit.

Fast-Track Review Fee

A Fast-Track Review service fee of IDR 500,000 per manuscript shall apply.

The Fast-Track fee covers priority handling, expedited reviewer coordination, and accelerated editorial processing.

This fee is separate from the journal’s standard publication charges (whether Article Publication Charge or Article Submission Charge, as applicable under the current policy).

Payment of the Fast-Track fee does not influence editorial decisions and does not guarantee acceptance or immediate publication.

Application Procedure

To apply for Fast-Track Review:
- Submit the manuscript through the Jurnal Desain OJS system.
- Complete the designated Fast-Track Review request form (Google Form).
- Await confirmation from the editorial team regarding eligibility and quota availability.

The Fast-Track fee will be charged only after:
- The manuscript passes the initial compliance check in accordance with the Author Guidelines;
- The manuscript passes editorial desk review;
- Fast-Track quota availability is approved.

Review Timeline

With Fast-Track Review

Target completion of peer review and issuance of Letter of Acceptance (LoA) within 30 days, subject to the author’s timely revision.

Without Fast-Track Review

The review process may take 4 months or longer, depending on reviewer availability, author responsiveness, and submission volume.

Refund Policy

The Fast-Track Review fee is non-refundable once the accelerated review process has commenced.

A partial refund may be granted if:
- The manuscript is rejected after peer review; or
- The author fails to submit revisions within the specified deadline.

The refundable amount will be determined after deducting incurred priority handling and review coordination costs. All decisions are final.
