Publication Charges Policy

By submitting a manuscript to Jurnal Desain, authors agree to comply with the following publication charge policy.

1.      Current Policy
(This policy is applicable to manuscripts published up to Vol. 13 No. 4 (June 2026).

Article Submission Charge (ASC): IDR 0

Article Publication Charge (APC): IDR 500,000

The APC is payable only upon formal acceptance. Accepted manuscripts will not be published until full payment has been received.

 

2.      Revised Policy

(Effective for Vol. 14 No. 1 – September 2026 and onwards)

Effective from Volume 14, Number 1 (September 2026), the previous APC scheme is revised as follows:
Article Publication Charge (APC): IDR 1,000,000
The APC is payable only after the manuscript has been accepted for publication.
This policy is implemented to ensure the sustainability and quality of the journal’s editorial and publication process, including peer review management involving at least three reviewers for each manuscript, as well as copyediting, layout editing, and online publication.

Payment of the APC is required prior to publication.

Article Submission Charge (ASC): IDR 1,000,000

 

3.     Waiver Policy

Authors from outside Indonesia are exempted from the Article Publication Charge (APC).

 

4.      Fast Track Review

We offer additional fee options to authors to speed up the manuscript process through FAST TRACK REVIEW.
