Perancangan identitas visual kelurahan Duri Kepa berbasis data lapangan melalui pendekatan design thinking dalam mendukung komunikasi visual publik

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang identitas visual Kelurahan Duri Kepa berbasis data lapangan melalui pendekatan design thinking. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah belum adanya sistem identitas visual yang dapat menggambarkan karakter wilayah, nilai lokal, dan peran kelurahan dalam komunikasi publik. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan tahapan design thinking yang meliputi empathize, define, ideate, prototype, dan test. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara, dan survei terhadap masyarakat serta pihak kelurahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan berbasis data lapangan mampu mengidentifikasi elemen kunci identitas wilayah, meliputi nilai sosial budaya, karakter lingkungan, dan persepsi masyarakat, yang kemudian diterjemahkan ke dalam sistem identitas visual yang terstruktur. Proses design thinking yang dilakukan secara bertahap menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan pengguna penting untuk menghasilkan identitas visual yang sesuai dengan kondisi wilayah dan mudah dipahami. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa perancangan identitas visual wilayah tidak hanya merupakan proses estetis, tetapi juga melibatkan pemahaman terhadap kondisi sosial dan budaya yang digunakan dalam komunikasi visual publik. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan kajian identitas visual wilayah dengan menekankan pentingnya pendekatan berbasis data dan partisipasi pengguna, serta memberikan kerangka konseptual yang dapat digunakan sebagai acuan dalam perancangan identitas visual wilayah dengan pendekatan serupa.
