Perancangan wayfinding dan signage yang efektif harus mempertimbangkan aspek penempatan elemen visual, keterbacaan, konsistensi desain, dan integrasi nilai lokal atau budaya setempat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem wayfinding dan signage di lingkungan Institut Informatika dan Bisnis (IIB) Darmajaya yang lebih efektif, komunikatif, serta mencerminkan identitas visual kampus. Permasalahan yang ditemukan pada sistem wayfinding eksisting meliputi ketidakjelasan arah, inkonsistensi warna dan simbol, serta penempatan tanda yang kurang strategis. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode design thinking guna memahami pengalaman pengguna dan konteks spasial kampus secara menyeluruh. Tahapan penelitian mencakup observasi lapangan, wawancara mendalam, analisis tematik, pengembangan konsep desain, pembuatan prototipe digital, serta validasi pengguna. Prinsip desain yang digunakan meliputi simplicity, consistency, visibility, placement, dan accessibility. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan rancangan wayfinding yang menerapkan warna biru, kuning, dan putih sebagai identitas kampus. Desain akhir berupa panduan visual sistem wayfinding kampus yang mencakup sistem zonasi, hierarki informasi, dan peta penempatan signage. Rancangan ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kenyamanan navigasi, memperkuat citra institusi, dan menjadi acuan pengembangan sistem wayfinding berbasis budaya di lingkungan pendidikan tinggi.
