Implementasi konsep smart living pada coffee table untuk rumah subsidi satu lantai

Kebutuhan hunian pada 2026 diperkirakan mengalami peningkatan mengikuti bertambahnya tingkat Urbanisasi yang didominasi Masyarakat Berpenghasilan Rendah (MBR). Akan tetapi kenaikan tersebut berbanding terbalik dengan ketersediaan lahan, yang menyebabkan rumah subsidi yang disediakan pemerintah memiliki dimensi kecil. Keterbatasan dimensi ruang pada rumah subsidi tersebut menuntut perancangan furnitur untuk lebih adaptif dan multifungsi. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sebuah coffee table yang berkonsep smart living yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan layak guna. The Cofflex atau Coffee table with Flexibility Concept adalah contoh penerapan sederhana konsep smart living dengan metode lipat yang memudahkan untuk menyimpan dan mobilisasi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode perancangan design thinking yakni mencakup empathize, define, ideate, prototype, dan test. Hasil penelitian terkait fungsionalitas, kenyamanan, dan kepuasan dari 50 pengguna rumah subsidi yang menunjukkan presentase 83,63% serta hasil reliabilitas menunjukkan 0,752 dengan nilai acuan 0,6 menunjukkan bahwa ide coffee table lipat menjadi solusi efisiensi ruang.
